In order to become a Trading Participant on the Chi-X platform, there are two key stages:

• Legal and Compliance
• Technical Connectivity

The stages are not mutually exclusive and may run parallel to one another.

Legal & Compliance Stage

At this stage a "Know Your Client" exercise and suitability checks are performed. The applicant will need to complete and sign the application form and also sign the required legal documentation.

Technical Connectivity Stage

This stage of the process is designed to ensure that your firm can physically connect to the Chi-X platform.
